MEET OUR BOARD

In 1990 the Black Butte Police Service District (BBRSD) was formed by the Black Butte Ranch Association to provide police services for residents, their guests and the visitors of Black Butte Ranch. The BBRSD is managed by 5-7 Board Members appointed by the Deschutes County Commissioners. The BBRSD is made up of homeowners, who each serve a three-year term. Each of the representative seats has a qualification of either being a resident property owner, non-resident property owner or either. The Board has a Chair, Vice-Chair and Budget Sub-Committee. The police department’s Administrative Manager serves as its secretary for meetings. The Police Board meets on the third Thursday of the month at 9:00am in the South Sisters Conference Room of the Ranch Administration Building.
