Susan has vacationed at Black Butte Ranch since 1978 and in 2014 became a full time resident. She was elected to the BBR Board of Directors in 2020. Susan was born and raised in Oregon, has a B.S. and M.S. from the U of O and served as a teacher, principal and school superintendent during her 30 year career in education.



Currently, Susan serves on several BBR committees and is the Community Lead on the Firewise Committee. Most mornings, you will find her leading Hydrofit at Glaze Meadow Pool.
